Thanks to the long tradition of classical and Jazz piano playing in my family, saxophone became since 2001 my (very time consuming) non-professional activity. The many hours listening to my father (who was a very active piano player in Belgium after second world war) has been, I think, my best source of inspiration.
I had the opportunity to learn Tenor saxophone with killer saxophone player Guillaume Perret during four years.
Since then, I have performed in many different jazz and funk bands in the Swiss-French region around Geneva.
My main musical activity today is with the "FUNKY ASSOCIATES", a Funk band of 8 musicians offering the best of funk from the 70s until today ( James Brown, Maceo Parker, Prince, Chic, Maxwell, etc).
In 2005, I founded, with few very good friends, the "Monts Jura Jazz Festival", a major event in the Geneva region featuring world famous artists such as Didier Lockwood, David Reinhard, Electrodeluxe, A.charlier, B.Sourisse, Robin McKelle and JJ-Milteau, just to name a few.
